In Texas, our Family Courts are THE most important Court we have. The 301st District Court is one of seven such Family Courts serving Dallas County. Family Courts are the only Courts that have the power to put you in jail for contempt, remove your children for alleged abuse or neglect, and divide your property in a divorce. We must have a Court that is fair, will apply the current law as written and not impose their individual views. Additionally, the court needs to efficiently dispose of cases in a timely manner taking into consideration the individual needs of the parties. This requires a Judge who is hard working, experienced, competent and responsive. I am that type of lawyer and will be that type of Judge.

Having grown up in Dallas, graduating from Highland Park High School and SMU, I have served the people of Dallas County in various capacities for the last 35 years as a lawyer and as a member of the Texas Army National Guard.
